Delta-V Experts provide a Black Box (Crash Data Retrieval) Service where our Forensic Engineers can document and download the Black Box from your vehicle.
Delta-V Experts use two separate systems to access almost all vehicles currently sold in Australia. We can conduct a non-destructive download or remove the Black Box from the vehicle itself to be preserved as evidence. Our Forensic Engineers can then analyse the data and provide you with a report explaining the data.
Our Forensic Engineers are able to download most vehicles, including*:
Audi | Ford | Hyundai | Mazda | Suzuki |
BMW | Holden | Jeep | Mercedes | Toyota |
Chrysler | HSV | Kia | Nissan | Volkswagen |
Dodge | Honda | Lexus | Subaru | Volvo |
*Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee the data or vehicles and models which can be extracted. The data may be dependent on the damage, type of damage, year, make and model of the vehicle. The physical vehicle must be available.
Our Specialist Engineers and Technicians may be able to extract important data from the Black Box such as pre-impact speeds, brake status, steering and accelerator pedal positions, fault codes and vehicle defects. This information can be invaluable in an Accident Reconstruction and can add a new layer to the reconstruction itself.
If you would like to enquire about our Crash Data Retrieval Services, please Contact Us. Please have the year, make, model and registration (or VIN) for the particular vehicle available. We may request additional information.
